Obertauern Challenger

…this is the 4th of 6 decisive contests of the season—a pivotal moment in the battle for valuable points and a shot at qualifying for the Freeride World Tour.

Obertauern offers terrain with a wide variety of faces, providing the perfect setting for a challenging competition. The planned venue is once again the Hundskogel—which also hosted the Challenger event in 2026—offering the versatility needed for truly spectacular performances.

In the expansive Event Village, visitors can look forward to a lively atmosphere with a live screening of the action, accompanied by music from DJ Bademeister. And, as is typical for Obertauern—a place where athletic action and a legendary party scene blend seamlessly—the celebrations will continue long after the competition ends.
Once again, Obertauern demonstrates its versatility and its status as an ideal host for top-tier freeride events.
